CONGRATULATIONS, THANKS AND APPRECIATION COURSE DURING TRANSITION MS ISO 9001: 2008 TO ISO 9001: 2015 & COMMISSIONING OF THE AUDITOR GENERAL ASSEMBLY SERIES 2 AND SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE TOTAL ORGANIZATION FOUNDATION UNIMAP MANAGMENT CONSULTING (M) SDN. BHD. (TOMC).
Please be informed that, in conjunction with the ongoing Transition Course MS ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001: 2015 & Accreditation Council of the Auditor General of Series 2 and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between UniMAP Foundation With Total Organization Managment Consulting (M) Sdn. Bhd. (OMC), the Center for Corporate Development and Quality Management (suspect) would like to thank - appreciation and gratitude for the cooperation and commitment to those who have been involved directly or indirectly. TAHNIAH !! also spoken to the Auditor General's participants received certificates of accreditation was presented by YBhg. Brigedier Jen. Professor Emeritus Dr. Kamarudin Hussin, UniMAP Vice-Chancellor.
For information, transition courses that have been implemented are intended to provide an overview of the changes and updates to the standards contained in the ISO 9001: 2015. PUSPEK also intends to make UniMAP one of the first educational institutions to obtain ISO 9001: 2015 certificate. In addition, the signing of the MoU between the UniMAP Foundation and TOMC (M) Sdn. Bhd. Was perfected by Y.Bhg. Datuk Vice Chancellor cum Chairman of UniMAP Foundation and En. Azizol Azmi Director of TOMC (M) Sdn. Bhd .. Foundation UniMAP will become 'Trainer Strategic Managment Decision Tools Workshop' which will be marketed by OMC (M) Sdn. Bhd.

On Aug 20-21, 2015, the Corporate Development and Quality Management Center (PUSPEK) wishes to record the highest appreciation and gratitude for the cooperation and commitment to the parties who have been involved directly or indirectly. Only eight (8) Improvement Opportunities (OFIs) that need immediate action and NO Report of Non-Compliance issued by SIRIM. The implementation of the QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM by UniMAP improved.

KANGAR, June 24 - UniMAP University Development Department's staff, Hazrul Hisham Hamid and Suhana Shaari from the Corporate Development and Quality Management Center (PUSPEK) were honored as UniMAP's Quran and Hafazan winner.
Both participants who read Surah Al-Furqan each earned 80 and 63 marks each earning RM300 cash and a certificate of appreciation.
The second place was won by Azrie Ibrahim from the International Language Center and Nur Atiqah Abdul Ghani from the Student and Alumni Affairs Department (JHEPA) who each took home RM200 cash and a certificate of appreciation.
Third place winner Mohd Nasir Ibrahim from Legislative Unit and Siti Kamariah Md Sa'at from the Bioprocess Engineering School each took home RM100 and certificate of appreciation.
Prizes were presented by Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs and Alumni of UniMAP, Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Fo'ad Sakdan. Also present were UniMAP Islamic Center Director Hassan Arshad and UniMAP Center for Information Technology and Communication Nasrudin Abd. Shukor.

Kangar, March 17 - Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) had launched an addition to the UniMAP logo, now bearing the Universiti Malaysia Perlis wording besides the original logo. The launch was completed during the Seri Gemilang Putra UniMAP 2016 Award Ceremony at Putra Regency Hotel, here yesterday.
The launch was made in conjunction with the 10 years celebration after UniMAP was rebranded from Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan Utara Malaysia (KUKUM) on 1st February 2007 .
According to the Vice Chancellor of UniMAP, Dato 'Prof. Dr. Zul Azhar Zahid Jamal, the launch of the new logo is also in line with its increasing use and function.
"UniMAP is now 10 years, counting from the date of its branding, thus, an additional logo will better highlight UniMAP’s corporate image in the local and international scene.
"In addition, the launch of the new logo is also expected to reduce public's confusion in associating UniMAP with other public universities," he said.
Raja Muda of Perlis, who is also UniMAP Chancellor, Tuanku Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail launched the logo. Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, who is also the Pro-Chancellor of UniMAP, Tuanku Hajjah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil had also graced the audience with her presence.
Also present were Perlis Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Azlan Man; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Dato 'Prof. Emeritus Ir. Dr. Zainai Haji Mohamed and former Vice Chancellor of UniMAP, Datuk Prof. Emeritus Dr Kamarudin Hussin.
Meanwhile, a UniMAP time capsule containing hope notes, which was kept for 10 years, was also opened at the 2016 ASG in order to reminiscince on the hopes that were written ten years ago.
The hope written by UniMAP Chancellor wishes that all missions and visions of the university will be successfully achieved.
UniMAP Pro Canselor also hoped that luck will always be with UniMAP in its jourey to strive for excellence.
Dr. Kamarudin’s note is a prayer that UniMAP will be a famous university worldwide.
For the record, over 2000 students and staff produced the notes that are included in the time capsule at the UniMAP campus in Kubang Gajah on the midnight on 1st February, 2007.
